Lake of Bays Brewing Company (LB) is an established craft brewery looking to take its business to the next level. The company distributes across Ontario and into several other Canadian provinces, and also operates two direct sales locations in Muskoka, with a third slated to open in spring 2020.
LB is seeking an experienced and fearless professional to oversee the company’s finance and administrative functions, as it continues an aggressive multi-year plan to grow and diversify its operations. The beer industry is undergoing significant change, and the successful candidate may wish to consider wearing a horned helmet and splash goggles as standard work attire.
Prior experience in finance, accounting and general business administration is required. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to formulate and execute a finance strategy across multiple businesses, manage and motivate a team, and deal successfully with internal & external financial stakeholders.
Candidates with a variety of work backgrounds and experience levels will be considered, with a focus on approach, creative thinking and a willingness to confront & overcome risk and unexpected outcomes. Experience working in high-growth, immature, capital-intensive or otherwise “different” industries, such as cannabis, beverage alcohol, technology or entertainment, will be an asset.
Compensation package (including beer allotment!) to be determined based on individual skill set and experience.
