Top Shelf Classic Lager is the first collaborative brew created by Lake of Bays Brewing Company in partnership with the NHL Alumni Association after the two inked a three-year deal in June to produce a family of hockey-themed beers. (View press release)
An American-style lager with 4.5% alc./vol., Top Shelf is craft brewed in small batches in Baysville Ontario, using top quality noble hops and Canadian malt. (Download a printable PDF of Top Shelf Information Page)
The duo plan to distribute to other Canadian provinces and to parts of the United States later this year. Top Shelf enjoyed a warm reception at its initial launch into the US market at the National Beer Wholesalers Association in Las Vegas this week.
