FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lake of Bays Brewing and CFLAA Part Ways
Baysville, ON — (March 8th, 2016) With the 2015 Canadian football season now complete, it is with regret that Lake of Bays Brewing (LB) and the Canadian Football League Alumni Association (CFLAA) announce the conclusion of their beer partnership.
LB and the CFLAA inked a partnership in February 2014 and worked together for almost two years. In collaboration with the CFLAA, LB launched Pigskin Pilsner in growler bottles within Ontario and parts of Western Canada. Chris Walby, CFL Hall of Fame Inductee, was featured on a specialty growler released in the Manitoba market. Proceeds collected by the CFLAA were used to support former players, the game of football in Canada, and other charitable causes.
The CFLAA would like to continue with the Pigskin brand and is actively searching for craft breweries who would be interested in a partnership. Interested parties may contact the CFLAA for more information.
A Federally incorporated not-for-profit association, the CFLAA’s mission is to nurture, strengthen and grow the Canadian Football League football family in both Canada and the United States.
Lake of Bays Brewing Company is one of Ontario’s fastest-growing craft breweries, offering a selection of year-round, seasonal, and limited edition beers.
