As part of their Hockey Benefit Tour, members of the National Hockey League Alumni Association will be making their annual return to Bracebridge. The opposing team is Muskoka’s very own Law Enforcement All Stars.
In recent years, the game has started out pretty competitive, but usually evolves into general silliness. The NHLAA players enjoy a good roasting by the referee who will be riffing jokes and jabs at the alums.
During intermission, the Bracebridge Bears play a short game and get to knock gloves with the greats. The audience is invited to participate in some contests, followed by a few hockey skills competitions between NHLAA players and the OPP.
Many of us here at the brewery will by rallying at the game to show our support for this not-for-profit event! More than likely, after a couple cans of Top Shelf.
After the game, the players will be having a little after-party at the Crabby Joe’s in Bracebridge. This is a great opportunity to get your gear signed along with some wings ‘n’ brews.
