Forget Wiarton Willy. Here’s a beacon of warmer days to come tailored to the craft beer lover. As of March 1, you can pick up Spring Maple Belgian Blonde Ale at the LCBO.
Made in partnership with the Ontario Maple Syrup Producers’ Association, we’re pretty sure you’ve never had a Belgian ale like it.
Brewed with Belgian yeast (natch), sweet malt, noble hops and Ontario maple syrup, Spring Maple Belgian Blonde Ale clocks in at a hearty 7% alc./vol. and IBUs at a mere 13. “Not all beers have to be hoppy,” says head brewer Dan Unkerskov.
